With approximately 50% of Australian Government departments using Drupal in 2020 it would appear that the open source software bundle is the Australian government's web content management framework of choice.
There is even an Australian Government supported Drupal distribution called GovCMS. It is specific to Australian Government requirements however can be freely downloaded and used by anyone.
